EJ foods, a Master Distributor located in University Place WA, is looking to expand our sales team.
Fostering long term business relationships with our customers is our priority, and we take the same approach with our staff!
We’re looking to train the right person who can grow with us.
It is crucial that our candidate:
Is a self-starter and can work independently
Is dedicated to creating and keeping relationships with customers and suppliers
Is proficient with computers. We use the Microsoft Office Suite. You will need to manage spreadsheets and emails with ease.
Possess a drive for learning and teaching others about products.
Has the capacity to make profitable decisions.
Can think of creative solutions to challenges.
Has the capability to prioritize and manage a work load with minimal direction.
Will mesh with our team and foster good relationships with customers and suppliers.
Has reliable transportation.
We’d especially love to talk to someone that has:
An education and or a background in sales or any facet of the food industry
Has experience with A/R or A/P
Knowledge of non-foods & disposables
It would be great if they also:
Had AS400 experience
Are familiar with wholesale food categories.
Already had manufacturer contacts.
Are bilingual
Our sales staff works hard, but they are appreciated, rewarded, and generally home before 6pm, M-F. We’re closed on major holidays! Compensation is very competitive and includes a compete benefit package.
